2. Cambiaron en algo los tonos sobre tema del “mercenario”. EEUU se dio por informado, aun cuando dejó claro que no le gustó la forma, esta es la transcripción del briefing del Departamento de Estados: “QUESTION: Actually, do you have any update on (inaudible) Venezuela on the --… MS. NULAND: Yeah, I have a little bit of an update on Venezuela. So the Venezuelans did confirm to us here in Washington yesterday after the briefing that they do have an American citizen under custody. They did not follow usual channels and notify our Embassy in capital, nor have they responded to our requests for consular access to him. So we are continuing to ask them first to communicate directly with our Embassy in Caracas, which is the standard diplomatic practice, and second, to grant us consular access… QUESTION: Do you know much about the allegations against the individual or about the – or has State been in touch with the person’s family?... MS. NULAND: Well, again, we don’t have a Privacy Act waiver because we haven’t had access to him, so there’s not much I can add from the podium here… Okay. La versión de AVN en boca del, por ahora presidente, contrasta con la versión de Diosdado ayer: "Ojalá que ellos (Estados Unidos) contribuyan con nosotros. La señal que hemos recibido es positiva.
