CAMACOL is proud to be a partner with Miami Dade County on issues which have direct economic impact to our community and state. Our year-round mission is to establish commercial linkages, develop business opportunities and sponsor activities which create and retain employment for our community.
CAMACOL’s ability to leverage funds is tantamount to our ability to create and or retain jobs in our community. The County’s investment in CAMACOL generated the creation and or retention of over 1000 jobs in our community. Every job created and retained includes increases in compensation costs other than wages, rents, profits, and other types of non-compensation income. The ratio of GDP to total employment in the economy is $105,000 . Therefore, we delivered approximately over $1.2 million dollars in revenues to our recovering economy. As such, the County’s investment in CAMACOL delivers cost effective results.
