On the seventh year of the Twenty-First Century of the Christian era, the modern world celebrates one more Christmas in which, as it is done on every 25th of December, it commemorates the birth of Baby Jesus, of that divine and human being that brought to the world the sublime message of peace and love. In biblical Bethlehem, in a humble manger, with his mother the Blessed Virgin Mary and his putative father, Saint Joseph, began the extraordinary life of a child that miraculously is God.
In the past twenty centuries, mankind has had, in the birth, public life, and acts of Jesus, the incommensurable testimony of what God has planned for the world through the glorious life, death, and Resurrection of the Divine Redeemer.
Christmas is a feast of enormous spiritual and religious significance, molded in eternal values, as eternal are what the life and acts of Jesus represent. Christmas is a family celebration that should not lose its name or its scope for Christian families. It embraces Heaven and Earth. It is a feast that has only one goal, one end, the salvation of souls through the love of God.
