The next generation of leadership for the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce It is with great excitement, pride and pleasure that I share with you the news of the election of the next generation of leadership for the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
At the USHCC Board of Directors meeting held in Dallas, Texas on Friday, August 27, 2010, the Board elected Nina Vaca as incoming Chair and Jeanette Hernandez Prenger as Vice Chair. This new leadership team marks an evolutionary era for the USHCC that sets a tone of fresh, ambitious and proven talent. Ms. Vaca and Ms. Prenger are entrepreneurial role models with a winning attitude, innovative thinking and strong abilities to build relationships.
For the first time in the history of the USHCC, these two critical positions of our organization will be held by two women leaders.
As we prepare to gather for the 31st Annual USHCC National Convention & Business Expo, to be held in Dallas, Texas from September 22, through September 25, we are truly energized by this significant step in the future of our national organization and the positive impact it will have in strengthening our ties to our local Hispanic chamber partners.
Both Ms. Vaca and Ms. Prenger look forward to seeing you at the convention, exchanging ideas and sharing in the vision of the future of America's Hispanic Business Enterprises (HBEs).
Nina Vaca is the founder and CEO of Pinnacle Technical Resources, an award-winning provider of information technology. Under Ms. Vaca’s leadership, Pinnacle has become the second fastest growing firm in a $20 billion dollar industry, and now includes approximately 3,000 consultants across 45 states. A two-time winner of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s prestigious Business Woman of the Year Award, Ms. Vaca has also appeared in Fast Company Magazine as one of the Top 25 Women Business Builders in the country, as well as being honored in many top business publications. She is a graduate of Texas State University with a B.A. in Speech Communications and Business Administration where she was honored as the youngest Distinguished Alumna in university history.

The company is certified as a small, woman-owned and disadvantaged business enterprise. Ms. Prenger is a graduate of Park University with a BS in Management and Computer Information Systems.
We will be sending out a nationally distributed press release announcement on Monday, August 30, but wanted you, our most valued and trusted Hispanic chamber partners, to know of this significant announcement before it is disseminated to the general public.
Please join me in congratulating Nina Vaca and Jeannette Hernandez Prenger, as we unfold a new chapter in the proud legacy and vibrant future of Latinos who are changing the face of American business.
Sincerely,
