The Best Use of Your Doral Chamber of Commerce Membership
I wrote this email because I want to make sure that you are taking full advantage of what the Doral Chamber of Commerce has to offer you.
The best way to get full advantage of your DCC membership is to get involved in events.
Every event is a networking opportunity. Always bring business cards and always network. Don't be shy in introducing yourself to others - but approach them with a genuine desire to get to know the other person and their business. A sale always begin with establishing a relationship. You cannot sell anything to anyone. People buy from you. And they only buy from you when you have built a relationship and trust.
Here are some of the ways that you can use the DCC for maximum benefit.You can email your member-to-member discounts in our emails. Send the offer to info@doralchamber.com in a .jpg format no more than 250 pixels wide and a minimum resolution of 96. We will email your offer free of charge at the bottom of the weekely "Calendar
of Events" email.
You can ask for a list of Doral Chamber of Commerce members so that you can create a mailer with your offers. (Please do not spam this list). This is only available to Doral Chamber of Commerce members. You can also have a list of City of Doral businesses free of charge. Email your request to the same email above.
All DCC members can schedule a free Marketing Strategy Session with me. The purpose is to understand your business, it's goals and marketing plan and figure out how the DCC can best help you market your business.
Join one of the DCC committees. We have proactive committees such as the DCC PowerWomen Business Group, the DCC PowerBankers & Finance Group, the Brickell Business Annex and many others. Watch for an upcoming list of committees. Be active in these committees and other events.
Join the DCC PowerLeads Networker Group. This group meets on Friday mornings at 7:30 a.m. and is composed of professionals in different fields and interests. It is a wonderful opportunity to network and to give and receive referrals from other DCC members.
Conduct a seminar in your field of expertise. As a Doral Chamber of Commerce member you are entitled to give seminars in your field of expertise and use our facilities free of charge. (The DCC may charge for the seminar or workshop to attendees) By giving these seminars you are sble to soft-sell your services. You are seen as an expert in your field and have a higher potential of selling your products or services.
Host a DCC Business Blitz at your place of business. Every Thursday morning we visit a different Doral Chamber of Commerce member at their place of business. The purpose is to have other DCC members and guests get to know you in your setting. Their paradigm shifts when people see you in action at your place of business, they meet your staff, tour your office, etc. It becomes easier for them to refere business to you. This is a very popular and successful event.
