Faced with Anti-Democratic Governments in Latin America

Faced with Anti-Democratic Governments in Latin America

In view of the coordination that exists among Latin American governments that are enemies of institutional democracy and of human rights, there should be a coordination of governments that are truly democratic, that oppose the alluded ones, to face the aggressions that against republican institutionalism have been taking place for a few years now, with more intensity in the last year.
It is neither normal nor fair that only the enemies of democracy be organized and that its friends, those who must defend it openly and constantly do not do the same. If democracy is left defenseless because those who support it, or are supposed to support it, do not act firmly to defend it, those who are determined to enthrone a populist totalitarianism, are going to reap undeserved and aberrant benefits protected by the negligence, to say the least, of those who should act against the enemies of democracy.
